Office ballerina

Blouse - Primark
Skirt - ebay
Shoes - New Look
Necklace - Boots
Bug ring - Primark
Heart rings - Kukee
Nail polish - Barry M gelly blackberry

I wore this outfit to university and because I didn't start until 2 I had some time to play around with my hair. If you know me or follow my blog you may have noticed that my hair is always down so this is a bit of a change for me. The bun feels like what I used to have to have my hair like for my ballet exams, I don't like that feeling so probably wont be doing it any time soon! And the outfit does feel like something someone would wear to the office for their 9 -5 job! ha. But apart from all of these feelings I genuinely quite like this outfit it's pretty comfortable.

Crazy for Tartan

Crazy for Tartan

1. The White Pepper check smock dress - Asos
2.Plum tartan skirt - New Look
3. Green check trousers - Zara
4. Tartan tee - Topshop
5- Tartan winter coat - Hell Bunny
6. Tartan pinafore - Boohoo
7. Peterpan collar check dress - Zara
8. Blue tartan skirt - Boohoo
I have gone crazy for tartan this Autumn. I love it. I just want everything in my wardrobe to be filled with a mixture of  tartan, leather and velvet! I have bought the plum tartan skirt from new look and it's so much nicer in real life then cyber :) It's quite thick and heavy which is perfect for A/W, you don't want your skirt blowing everywhere in the wind (see outfit post here). These are just a handful of the tartan that I currently have my eye on. Mod Dolly also have a couple of really nice tartan pinafores (link you to one of them).

Well I hope you are as tartan crazy as I am! Don't forget to enter my giveaway click here. Ends on Sunday!!

Back to School

I started my third and final year of university this week! Pooping my pants is an understatement!! Third year is already intense and I've only had two days. Dissertation talk already. Definitely need to be more organised so stationary shopping is a must :) So I felt like I was wearing my school uniform with the blouse and tartan skirt well more like a private school girl because my uniform is a lot more scruffy and boring.

My school bag!

Shopping Haul - New Look and Peacocks

So if you read my blog you may have seen that I went 83 days without shopping but since I came back to Cornwall for my summer holidays my shopping spree has gotten out of control!!!! And because there is only a handful of shops in my town my shopping haul only includes lots of New Look and one item from peacocks. So here are my items...
Skirts - I am in love with tartan followed closely by leather so these skirts are perfect! I tried the red tartan skirt on with the green blouse I also purchased and they surprisingly go really nicely together! Perfect for Christmas (I know it's a bit early to be thinking about that now). I have a leather skater skirt but I wanted a more fitted one and I think this will be really lovely with all of my blouses and cami tops!

Leather skirt - Purple tartan - Red tartan - All New Look
Jumpers - These two jumpers are very cosy! I think they will look great with a blouse under and a collar poking out of the top . This will also break up the pale cream with my very pale skin :)

Cream cable knit - white and black - Both New Look
Cami tops - Now I'm a bit late, well very late with the cami top trend, these are my first ones and probably my only ones due to it getting cold! But I do really like them! Very comfy and I so far have worn them with my disco pants. I think the sparkly top will be great at Christmas time!

Green - Sparkle - Both New Look - Daisy Print - Peacocks £8 with 20% student discount
Sorry about this very rubbish photo! I bought this burgundy top because I really don't have many plain basic tops so thought this would be a start. It's very comfortable I paired it with my high waisted Levis and it has a (p)leather trim around the neck which I think is a nice added touch . And this green blouse is super comfy. As I said before I can pair it with my tartan :)

Burgundy top - Green Blouse - Both New Look
Chunky loafers - These were featured on my wishlist! I have finally bought them and I love them. The only thing was I had to wear them in a little. There were a little stiff at first but now they are comfy cosy :) And they will be perfect for all of my tartan! It just reminds me of Clueless.

Chunky Loafers - New Look

I hope you've liked what I have been buying. What was your favourite? I tried to find the link for all of the items but some aren't currently featured online. Don't forget to enter my giveaway click here.

Wish List #6

Wish List #6

Dungaree dress - Motel Rocks - £40
Red slip dress - Topshop - £38
Paisley shift dress - Dahlia - £60
Cami top - New Look - £12.99
Chunky loafers - New Look - £24.99
Clutch Bag - Ark - £17

I just love all of these items! The problem is my bank account wont allow me to buy all of them :( If only I had a fairy god mother who bought me everything I wanted.....A girl can dream.

The chunky loafers I have tried on but didn't purchase because I didn't have my student card on me and I wanted to save that £2.50, I'm a cheap skate I know! I will go back and purchase these for sure, I just hope they still have my size. These are the type of shoes that look better in real life then in the virtual world.

I think the 3 dresses will be perfect for the changing season...who am I kidding my whole wardrobe is the same dresses for summer and winter! Just pop on some woolly tights and a knitted cardigan :)

Ark posted this clutch on their twitter, as soon as I saw it I wanted it! It's the creepy hats that do it, I have some earrings like these (sadly I lost one). This would be perfect for I night out, I always use the same bag so I need to start getting a bigger selection.

This cami top would go very nicely with my red disco pants! I need to invest in more basic tops due to everything in my wardrobe being too patterned so I can't match anything.

Well I hope you like my wishlist! Of course there is a whole lot of tartan I want but I think that may deserve it's own post. What's on your wishlist for A/W?

100 followers GIVEAWAY!!

I've reached 100 followers on GFC and Bloglovin'!!! Thank you soooo very much for all of my followers! I know that it's not a lot compared to others but it really is to me. I only started blogging in May and I really didn't think I would reach 30 let alone 100! So as a token of my appreciation I have set up a giveaway. There will be one winner who will win two necklaces which I have purchased with my own money from ebay. One is an octopus (I also have this necklace) and the other is a deer (which I may have to purchase for myself).

This is me wearing my octopus!

Your Majesty - Silver Nails

I purchased the Rimmel London I love lasting finish 239 Your Majesty. I saw the silver and thought hmm this would be pretty on my nails I'll take it! :) And because it was on offer in Boots for £1.99 I couldn't say no. £1.99 what a bargain. I always tend to buy Rimmel nail polish, I can't seem to go to another brand. They are cheap, have a great selection of colours, seem to last on my nails and the brushes are wide so it only takes a couple of minutes to paint my nails! I do recommend this polish and it will be perfect for the upcoming season! My nails had two quick coats but could of probably gotten away with just the one :)

What do you think of Rimmel London nail polish? Are there any brands that you can recommend me?

Feeding the ducks

I got to come back to Cornwall last week for my summer holidays so probably the rest of my summer posts will be about my little adventures around my home town! I currently live in London for University but I'm from Cornwall. It's the perfect place to come back too. So my little adventure was with my family and we went and fed the ducks! It was such a lovely day and couldn't ask for a better first day out.

This is my brother doing his best blogger pose!

What I was wearing -
Tie dye tee - New Look
Shorts - Levis
Shoes - Creepers

I apologise for the very boring outfit but hopefully the swan attacking the other swan can add some excitement! You can now follow me on instagram! Link on the top right hand corner :)
